Description:

I went on a day trip to Sunderland university to learn and take part in their own made student radio station as well as their television area. When visiting the radio station we learned how to record and cue music ready for the next song as we presented. In addition when I was in the television area I learned how to direct presenters as well as: use an autocue, become a camera operator, produce, direct and sound mix.

Tyneside pop up film school

Description:

I participated in Tyneside's pop up film school and during the pop up school I operated cameras, boom mics, lighting and prop design. I was put into a group where we all had the task to create a short movie (as we were given a script), we then assigned roles and began shooting. 

Box Clever Events

Description:

I created a website, Instagram page and a promotional video for Box Clever Events to help promote their business. Since I created the Instagram page their followers for their account increased by 10%. I used wix.com to create the website as well as using photoshop to edit images and create a new logo for their brand (however this logo they did not use on their own personal brand). I used premiere pro to edit and pull together the promotional video. Whilst adding certain effects to help give the video a unique aspect.

I co own Wax Worx and I design all the scent labels as well as the logo and manage the website along with the Facebook page. This has allowed me to gain more experience within real life situations rather than class room based scenarios.

During my time at Sunderland college I had the opportunity to make use of the softwares provided which included premiere pro and photoshop along with many others. I created: movie trailers, movies, posters, promotional videos, special effects and many more due to the use of photoshop and premiere pro.
